Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, Chaplain and Spiritual Director, Adoration Ministry Chaplaincy, has been reposted to the monastery by the Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Most Rev Callistus Onaga.

Rev Fr Anthony Amadi is the new Chaplain of the Adoration Ministry Chaplaincy.

Fr. Mbaka’s followers, on the other hand, are protesting the decision, as the new Chaplain, Fr. Amadi, was reportedly chased out of the ministry by adorers, as Mbaka’s followers are affectionately known.

“We say no,” Mbaka’s supporters say, as Mbaka is removed from the Adoration Ministry and sent to the Monastry.

Rev. Fr. Anthony Amadi was introduced as a replacement for Mbaka on Sunday, October 2, but members revolted and refused to accept any priest to replace Mbaka.

Members of the congregation were said to have charged towards Fr. Amadi while screaming, “We say no.”

Remember that Enugu Catholic Bishop Csllistus Onaga suspended Mbaka from the ministry three months ago for making partisan political comments. Mbaka had previously stated that Peter Obi is a stingy man.

Mbaka was expected to return on October 2 and memebers thronged to the Adoration ground to receive him, but were disappointed when Mbaka announced his successor.
