Boko Haram Sponsors Revealed;the Names will Shock You.

The United Arab Emirates named six Nigerians as financiers of Boko Haram and other criminal acts on Monday.

According to the state-run WAM news agency, the decision was made when the Emirate federal cabinet met in the capital Abu Dhabi on Monday.

Sahara Reporters said that Six Nigerians have been placed on the Middle-East giant’s watch list. The six people include;

  • Abdurrahaman Ado Musa,
  • Salihu Yusuf Adamu,
  • Bashir Ali Yusuf,
  • Muhammed Ibrahim Isa,
  • Ibrahim Ali Alhassan, and
  • Surajo Abubakar Muhammad.

According to Peoples’ Gazette, the ruling came around a year after Nigerians were charged with funding Boko Haram.

A Nigerian government official is accused of aiding and abetting the dangerous sect, which has killed over 100,000 people and security officers and caused enormous economic damage to the country since its inception in 2009.

The Emirati authorities have yet to publicly identify the government official, despite accusations that some sections in the Nigerian government were putting diplomatic pressure on them not to reveal the name.

On Monday, the UAE added at least 47 more international nationals and businesses to its watch list.
