Femi Fani Kayode Joins APC;What Happened?

Former aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode, has become the latest defector to the All Peoples Congress, APC.

Kayodes defection was confirmed in a Facebook post by the Senior special adviser to the president on Media today.

Garba Shehu wrote ” President Buhari receives New APC Member Femi Fani-Kayode in State House on 16th Sep 2021″.

The News of his defection may have come to many as a surprise considering how he had heavily criticized the APC in recent times.

In a report published by Channels Tv online in 2019, Femi Gani kayode was quoted to have insinuated that he’d rather die, than Join the APC.

“I am committed to opposing the APC and those that are in their ranks for the rest of my natural life and I will never join them no matter what!” the Former PDP chieftain said.

He stressed that he stands for light and truth, saying there can’t be any union between light and darkness (without saying who was darkness in this case)

Moreso, in a series a tweet which was released by the man who said he had “Short fuse” around the same period, he referred to himself as one who’d continue to oppose what he called “Almajiri People’s Congress (APC)”

This latest defection may have shocked many, but definitely not people like the former president, Olusegun Obasanjo who seemed to know him more than many Nigerians.

If the thoughts of OBJ are anything to go by, could it be that the ones giving him food are now in the APC? or could this be another move by the “short-fused man” to have his sins forgiven? only time would tell.
