Anambra 2021; “Ubah begged me to Join APC”- Soludo.

Viewers have been perplexed by a disagreement between Professor Charles Soludo and Andy Ubah. The former CBN governor alleged that the current APC candidate had begged him to join the APC in the past.

On Monday, the pair threw caution to the air and attacked each other during the Arise TV live discussion.

Remember that Soludo is the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for the governorship election on November 6, 2021, whereas Ubah is the candidate of the All Progressives Congress.

Soludo said that Uba, a close confidante of then-President Olusegun Obasanjo, worked as a domestic staffer in the Aso Villa, washing the former President’s shoes. The former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) made the remarks while discussing his relationship with Uba at an Anambra governorship election debate hosted by Arise TV.

He said, “I know Andy was a Masseur in the U.S.“He was a domestic staff in the Villa, who cleans the President’s shoes.“If throwing up my name gives Andy Uba a CV, then I will concede that to him.” 

Soludo also said that Uba begged him to join the APC.

Meanwhile, the governorship election in Anambra is set for November 6.In the midst of the state’s present bloodletting, the National Security Adviser, Babagana Monguno, vowed that security services would safeguard people’ safety.
