Anambra Election; APGA in Early Lead.

According to SR, the All Progressives Grand Alliance and the Peoples Democratic Party have seized an early lead in the Anambra State governorship election result collation.

Despite the fact that the election was mostly hampered by poor logistics from the Independent National Electoral Commission, results collation had begun in certain polling units that were able to continue voting.

According to PM News, as at 6.30 P.M. results of 871 out of 5720 polling units where voting took place had been uploaded by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

In Njikoka LGA in the polling unit at Abba Town Hall II, APGA got 26 of the 47 votes cast. APC and PDP got 6 votes each, YPP 5 and APM 1.

Moreso, reports say there were 124 valid votes cast in Obeagu Uruogbe Hall I, Enugwu Ukwu Ward I. APGA received 84 votes. The APC received 10, the PDP 26, the LP1, and the SDP 1.

The outcome in Ire Village Hall, where only 150 of the 928 registered voters cast ballots, followed a similar pattern.

The APGA received 89 votes, the APC received 39, and the PDP received seven.SDP and YPP each received two votes.
