“I will not trade my life for anyone”- Yvonne Jegede

Perhaps upset by the tragic circumstances that led to the death of popular gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu, Nollywood actress, Yvonne Jegede, has declared that she will not give up her life for anyone, no matter what.

The actress’s outburst came after another actress, Uche Jombo, demanded that the late gospel singer’s husband, Peter, be sentenced to life in prison if found guilty.

Jegede’s reaction could be linked to the breakdown of her marriage to Abounce, a rapper-turned-actor in 2019.

In an interview, the actress confirmed that they were “no longer living together and have gone their separate ways.”

In an Instagram post, Jegede wrote: “I will not trade my life for anyone. I am forever grateful for where I am, where I have been and where I am going.”
