“A country’s Success is Determined by how it treats its most Vulnerable citizens”-Osibanjo
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo believes that a country’s ultimate success would be determined by how it treats its most vulnerable inhabitants.
On Thursday, Osinbajo gave a special address at the State House Banquet Hall in Abuja to the At-Risk Children –Programme (ARC-P) Summit.
In 2019, President Muhammadu Buhari made two key policy announcements, according to him: the first was the government’s intention to bring 100 million Nigerians out of poverty within a decade.

The second, according to the vice president, was tight implementation of rules requiring all students in primary school to get free and obligatory education.
He said “In 2016 the rule of law advisory team was established in the presidency.
“One of the team’s main tasks was to ensure that, following the Violence Against Persons Prohibition Act, there is effective coordination of responses to cases of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV).
“Since then, the team has supported the establishment of SGBV Response Teams across the country.’’
