Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?

After a four-year hiatus, the popular television show ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?’ is making a comeback.

Although no official date has been set, the leadership Newspaper reports that the organizers have revealed that they plan to bring back the show very soon.

They said that contestants now have the opportunity to win a great grand prize of $20 million every week of the year.

The TV game show, based on the original British version known as “Millionaire” and well known in the literary world as “WWTBAM,” aired for nearly 13 years. It aired from October 8, 2004 until June 25, 2017, before going on indefinite hiatus when its main sponsor, MTN, withdrew out.

The show delighted TV audiences for 13 memorable years, boasting formidable participants with a vast wealth of general knowledge.

Aroma Ufodike, from Nnewi, Anambra State, previously participated on the show on September 11, 2009, and won the coveted N10 million.

The Millionaire game show, which has a complex set of rules, hosts a group of contestants in each episode in a preliminary round called “Fastest Finger First,” in which all contenders for the whopping prize money are given a question and four answers by the host, which must then be placed in a specific order.
