Tinubu and Uzor Kalu Meets in his Residence.

Ahead of the 2023 Presidential and General Elections, For senator and Governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, paid a visit to Senate Chief Whip, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, APC, Abia North, yesterday.

Tinubu was said to have paid a visit to Kalu, the former governor of Abia State, at his Aso-Villa residence in Abuja.Tinubu arrived at Kalu’s house at 4:25 p.m., and the two men hugged and exchanged pleasantries before proceeding to an indoor meeting.

According to information gathered, Kalu expressed his gratitude to God for his quick recovery shortly before the meeting began. Tinubu returned to Nigeria on October 8 after spending months in London for knee surgery.

The reason for their meeting is unknown, but it could be related to political intrigues surrounding the 2023 Presidential and general elections, the APC National Convention, and the direct primary system, among other things.

The visit came amid speculation that both men are strongly positioned to succeed incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.

Both men served as Governors of their respective states during the same time period.
