SEYI MAKINDE LASHES ATIKU

The governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, on Monday faulted the presidential candidate of his party, the Peoples Democratic Party Atiku Abubakar, for not reaching out to commiserate with him over the recent explosion in Ibadan.

The governor expressed his regret while praising the presidential candidate of the Labour Party Peter Obi, who visited him at the Government House in Ibadan to condole him on the January 16 explosion that killed about five persons and destroyed several properties in the state.

Makinde said while two of the other main contenders in the February 2023 presidential election including President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress and Obi have reached out to him, Atiku is yet to call or text him over the incident.
