Suspected Herdsmen kidnap Travellers in Delta

Suspected Fulani herdsmen are said to have kidnapped an unknown number of travelers along Delta State’s famed Sapele-Warri Road.

According to witnesses, the event occurred on Saturday. However, the Delta State Police Command denied any knowledge of a kidnapping operation in the state.

According to the Punch Newspaper, one of the victims, who claimed to have narrowly escaped the kidnappers but was injured in the process, revealed that the herdsmen assaulted the travelers in huge numbers.
