Obi Cubana Released?

There are signs that Obi Cubana, Nigeria’s special hospitality celebrity has been released from EFCC custody. This is because he posted on his Instagram account for the first time since his arrest at 4 p.m. on Tuesday. Apart from that, his “boy” Cubana Chief priest also made a post that suggests that his boss may have been released.

Around 4 p.m. on Tuesday, he posted on his Instagram handle, writing:

The caption stated, “I love you all, Unbroken.”

Remember that Cubana, whose real name is Obinna Iyiegbu, was allegedly questioned about alleged money laundering and tax fraud?

Obi Cubana, an Anambra native, arrived to the EFCC offices in Jabi Abuja around midday on Monday.

Investigators reportedly demanded Obi Cubana to give two sureties, both of whom must be Federal Directors, before releasing him. He was claimed to have met the requirement.
