Anambra begins a prayer session to end the Monday sit-at-home order

St. Patrick’s Catholic Cathedral in Awka has begun a prayer session to end the state’s Monday sit-at-home order.

Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, the governor of Anambra state, appealed to Anambrarians on Saturday to band together and fix the state.

Speaking with stakeholders, Soludo directed that all churches hold prayer sessions to put an end to the Indigenous People of Biafra’s (IPOB) sit-at-home order issued on Monday.

“We will engage with the good, the bad, and the ugly, and we will not discriminate against anyone,” he says.

His words: “We will engage with the good, the bad and the ugly, we will not discriminate against anybody. “We need more engagement than force in solving the problems, we need peace and security in our land to make progress, we can’t continue to cut our nose to spite our face.
