Abba Kyari; Activist Rinu Blast Govt for not Sending Kyari to USA to Face Charges.

Rinu Oduala, a Nigerian activist, has questioned the reasoning for granting bail to disgraced police officer Abba Kyari.

Earlier today, the daily Post reported that the Federal High Court in Abuja had granted bail to DCP Abba Kyari on money laundering accusations.

In addition to money laundering accusations, Kyari faces a principal charge of cocaine trafficking, for which he has been denied bail.

The suspended police officer, according to Rinu, should have been sent to the United States to face money laundering accusations.

In a Twitter post, Rinu decried how the judiciary is failing Nigerians.

She wrote:

“Abba Kyari, a corrupt SARS police officer,  who should have been extradited to the United States to face charges for fraud & money laundering alongside HushPuppi was released on bail today in my country.

How does the judiciary intend to maintain citizen trust exactly? #EndSARS”
