Owo Massacre: CAN Protests Killing of Worshippers, Demands Justice(Video)

On Monday, the Christian Association of Nigeria protested the massacre of worshippers at a Catholic church in Owo, Ondo state.

During mass, gunmen killed worshippers at Saint Francis Catholic Church in Owo, the headquarters of Owo Local Government Area in Ondo State.

Members of the association carried placards that read, among other things, “Stop Persecution of Christians,” “Don’t Play Politics With Our Lives,” “Stop Killing Christians,” and “Address Insecurity in Nigeria Urgently.”

Others read “Enough of Condolences, We Need Action”, Christians Are Not Happy, We Need Justice”,

Dare-devil gunmen terrorized the community on Sunday when they attacked the town’s main church.

Protesters marched to the Palace of Oba Gbadegesin Ogunoye to express their outrage at the attack.
