A man is in police custody after allegedly murdering a s*x worker.

The man arrested for allegedly killing a commercial s*x worker in Kwanawa, Sokoto State’s Dange/Shuni Local Government Area.

According to reports, the customer allegedly stabbed the victim to death with a knife during a fight after she refused the N1000 he offered her.

According to a source, the alarm raised by the hotel’s neighbors and passers-by drew the attention of the people who apprehended the suspect when he attempted to flee after discovering the victim was dead.

According to DSP Sanusi Abubakar, spokesperson for the State Police Command, who confirmed the incident to Punch, the suspect claimed to be a researcher who came to Sokoto State to conduct research.
