‘Juju’ on Plantain? What could be the Reason?

On Facebook, a photo of a plantain tied with an item suspected to be ‘juju” has surfaced. According to the image’s poster, the photograph was taken in the 8th Miles area of Calabar, the Cross River state capital.

A swarm of plantains was spotted with a suspected fetish item in order to scare thieves away from stealing it.

George Udok, a Nigerian journalist and publisher, took to Facebook on Sunday to post a photo of a plantain tied with an item suspected to be ‘juju” in the 8th Miles area of Calabar, the Cross River state capital.
