EFCC Arrests Obi Cubana, See Reason. . .

Popular Celebrity Bar man and Hospitality specialist Obinna Iyiegbu, A.K.A Obi Cubana, may have been detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

The Anambra-born club owner, was said to have arrived at the EFCC offices in Jabi, Abuja, about midday on Monday, is now being questioned by commission investigators.

Though the allegations against the socialite were vague at the time of publication, the Punch reports that they have information which suggests that Obi Cubana may have been arrested for alleged money laundering and tax fraud.

The source said, “Obi Cubana was arrested and brought to the EFCC headquarters on Monday afternoon over allegations of money laundering and tax fraud. He is being grilled by detectives as we speak.”
