DaBaby’s Las Vegas battery Charges dismissed

A battery case against DaBaby, an American rapper, has been dismissed.

Recall that the 29-year-old rapper The 29-year-old rapper – whose real name is Jonathan Kirk was accused of assaulting a driver in Las Vegas in November 2020, but the misdemeanor battery charge was dismissed with prejudice, which means the case against him cannot be refiled.

According to the Clark County District Attorney’s Office, the charges were dropped because DaBaby did everything prosecutors asked him to do to settle the case, including paying the alleged victim $7,500 and staying out of trouble.

The ‘Rockstar’ hitmaker’s lawyers had previously called the allegations, which surfaced months after the alleged incident, a “attempted money grab.”

His attorney, Drew Findling, previously said: “A 100% false accusation which suspiciously pops up in February regarding an alleged incident in November. We can smell another attempted money grab.”
