The Lagos State Government has warned members of the public not to distribute footage of Chrisland School students engaging in a “immoral act.”

Remember that when the incident occurred, students from the elite private school in Victoria Garden City were on their way to Dubai to compete in the World School Games between March 10 and 13, 2022.

Following the incident, the student was suspended indefinitely by school officials, who stated that she was “a major actor” in a “immoral act.”

However, the student’s mother claimed that her daughter was drugged and raped by some of the school’s male students.

Following the uproar caused by the incident, the Lagos State Government ordered the closure of all of the school’s branches in the state.

The state government, in a statement on Monday, warned citizens that sharing such footage amounts to child pornography and could attract up to a 14-year jail term.
