5 Escape from Kidnappers in Kaduna.

In Kaduna State, Five of the eighteen people abducted by gunmen have escaped their captors.

Engineer Usman Ibrahim, one of the escapees who talked to the media, claimed the kidnappers entered the village in the late hours of Monday while it was pouring and walked from one house to the next, snatching people.

He claimed that eighteen of them, including women and children, were taken.


He claimed he escaped by escaping into a rice paddy, but the kidnappers kidnapped three of his family members.
Meanwhile, Kaduna Police spokesman Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Mohammed Jalige said in a press statement that the police rescued five people while 12 remain detained.
