2023; Chibuike Amaechi Resigns As Transportation Minister

Hon. Rotimi Amaechi, Nigeria’s Minister of Transportation, has resigned from the Federal Executive Council (FEC).

According to a report in the Nigerian Tribune.

According to sources close to the former Minister, he “sent his resignation letter today.”

Last week, President Muhammadu Buhari directed that all Federal political appointees seeking electoral office in the upcoming general elections resign.

Buhari set today, May 16, 2022, as the deadline for appointees to comply with the order.
